Nigeria’s creative, entertainment, culture-tourism sectors have come a long way, thanks to the determination and consistency of deep human efforts, of a few, who have thrived against all odds, through the spirit of resilience, to express their talents, skills .

Continuously, across different sectors of the creative, visual and performing arts, and beyond, Nigeria has witnessed tremendous positive change; which has impacted life, economy and social structure of the country, through the evolution of sustained creativity. Very few people, across age, religion and ethnic disparity and sex, made it possible. 

Reason we decided to look back, to honour those who honour is due, for their timeless effort to push creativity to greater heights through local instruments, materials and ingenuity, to add value to the Nigerian brand. 

THE AWARDS

As listed below the ENEX awards is for different genre and sectors and of different categories.

The awards are to be conferred on the few who have over time, painstaking efforts – through their skills, talents, display and produce works which have set themselves apart from the rest.

Who Deserves An Award

ENEX Awards are priceless because they reflect what an award should be: only for the ‘Real and the Few’ – One At A Time. 

ENEX  recognizes only those who have contributed to the development of the creative, entertainment, culture-tourism sectors in Nigeria, in a special way, beyond the ordinary, cutting across the past and the present. 

As a show of support and encouragement, ENEX Award is conferred on those who have not only, timelessly, promoted the Nigeria brand through their arts (locally and globally),   but have, through dint of hard work, helped built , reshaped their sectors, and have become a role model to others (future generation) and a pillar to to the institution.

EXPERIENCE NIGERIA (Theatre)

Entrepreneurs in Theatre and drama/dance performances have a  place in the ENEX Award.

Three categogories have been listed in the 2022 award, they are:

  1. Nigeria All Time Legend of Theatre
  2. Nigeria Theatre Troupe of the Year
  3. State Theatre/Dance Troupe of the Year 

SOUNDS OF NIGERIA (Highlife Music)

ENEX Award in highlife music is in two categories only:

  1. ICON of Nigeria Highlife (Posthumous) 
  2. Highlife Music Artiste of the Year Award
  3. Nigeria Home-Music of the Year

SOUNDS OF NIGERIA (Cont. Music)

For Music, ENEX Award has two music award sections for Highlife, spanning local and contemporary. The awards are:
